When are new crop pecans available?
Generally, new crop pecans are available the first or second week of November.
Absolutely. Unused pecans can be stored in the freezer and retain their quality, texture, and delicious flavor for many months. This is because pecans have a low moisture content.

If you only need to store them for a few months, unused pecans can be stored in the refrigerator.
In either case, it is best to seal them in an air-tight container prior to placing them in the freezer or refrigerator.
Can I choose the date I would like my gifts to ship?
Yes. Currently, we ship Monday through Friday, only. Generally, we ship via UPS. A UPS Zone map is located here.
Obviously, your order will need to be placed in advance (the sooner the better) so that we can accommodate your request. You will be asked to select a Delivery Date / Pick Up date for your order.
What options are available for greeting / enclosure cards?
We can accommodate a personalized greeting / enclosure card in every shipment. You can provide your own greeting / enclosure card, or if you prefer, specify what you want to say, and we can include your personalized message on a greeting / enclosure card for you.
Can Heaton Pecan Farm handle an extended mailing list?
Absolutely. However, we do ask that you provide it to us in a particular format to ensure proper mailing / shipping entry. Click here to download a sample file that you can populate with your mailing list.
Once your order is shipped, a shipping-confirmation email with tracking information will be sent to you.
What limitations are there for shipping?
Currently, we ship to the forty-eight (48) continental United States. However, we can also ship into many places in Canada.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We prefer credit card payment, and all major credit cards are accepted, as well as Heaton Pecan Farm “Gift Cards”.
We can accept business checks for Corporate Orders. However, full or partial payment may be required for large orders, depending upon your order history with us.

What about Corporate Gifts / Corporate Discounts?
We welcome Corporate Gifts and offer Corporate Discounts based upon volume. For these type orders, we strongly recommend placing your order early, at least one (1) to two (2) weeks, to ensure we can have them packaged and delivered on time. Large orders, greater than fifty (50) addresses, may require additional advance notice, depending upon the time the order is placed.
